Willie Lindley Killed in MARTA Bus Accident in Atlanta, GA

Atlanta, GA — October 31, 2023, Willie Lindley was killed in a MARTA bus collision on Cleveland Avenue, east of Interstate 75 in Atlanta, GA.

Authorities indicate that on October 31, a fatal crash occurred when a man was struck by a transit bus in Atlanta. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 5:00 in the afternoon. Investigators say the pedestrian was outside of the crosswalk on Cleveland Avenue when a MARTA bus struck him. The cause of the accident is still being determined at this time.

Officials confirmed the pedestrian, Willie Lindley, suffered fatal injuries. No further information was given. The investigation is ongoing.
