Tampa Man Killed in Tractor-Trailer Accident on Chancey Road in Wesley Chapel, FL

Pasco County, FL — November 1, 2023, a Tampa man was killed due to a tractor-trailer accident at around 7:26 a.m. along Chancey Road.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident took place at the intersection of Chancey Road and Morris Bridge Road in the Tippecanoe Village area, which is a suburb several miles north of Tampa.

According to officials, a 31-year-old Tampa man was on a Kawasaki motorcycle going eastbound along Chancey Road. a tractor-trailer was apparently going westbound when reports say it turned into the path of the motorcycle going toward Morris Bridge Road. As a result, the vehicles collided.

Due tot he collision, the Tampa man sustained fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries. Right now, there are no reported charges or citations. Investigations are ongoing.
