Van Zandt County, TX — October 26, 2023, Autumn McLane was killed in a pedestrian-vehicle accident on U.S. Route 80 in Van Zandt County, TX.

Authorities indicate that on October 26, a fatal accident occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Van Zandt County. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 12:45 in the afternoon. Investigators say a woman was walking in the eastbound lane along Route 80 when a pickup truck struck her. The cause has not been released at this time.

Officials confirmed the pedestrian, 23-year-old Autumn McLane, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported, and no other vehicles were said to be involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
