Quiannette Sykes, 1 Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Georgetown, TX

Georgetown, TX — October 9, 2023, Quiannette Sykes and one other person were injured in a motorcycle accident just before 1 a.m. along Fairhaven Gateway.

According to reports, Quiannette Sykes and a male passenger were riding a motorcycle west on Mais Drive toward the Fairhaven Gateway intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, rather than making a turn in either direction onto Fairhaven Gateway, the motorcycle continued straight through the intersection and into a driveway. The motorcycle collided with a car which had been parked in the driveway and veered to the left, striking a pillar of the residence before coming to a stop.

Both Sykes and the 39-year-old male passenger were ejected from the bike and sustained injuries as a result of the incident; their current conditions have not been made public. The cause of the accident has not been confirmed. No additional details are available at this time.
