Caleb Jaton Injured in Truck Accident in Onawa, IA

October 30, 2023, Caleb Jaton was injured in a truck accident at around 8:30 in the morning along Interstate 29.

According to authorities, Caleb Jaton, of Sioux Falls, was in a southbound 18-wheeler on I-29 close to the Onawa exit when the incident occurred.

A second 18-wheeler which had been hauling an oversized load was stopped in the far right lane of the southbound interstate. For unknown reasons, the 18-wheeler in which Jaton was traveling rear-ended the halted 18-wheeler, leading to major damages to each of the vehicles.

29-year-old Jaton was seriously injured as a result of the accident. He was airlifted to a medical center with the appropriate facilities capable of his treatment. His current condition has not been made public. The accident is still under investigation and no additional details are currently available.
