Leo Meythaler Killed in Truck Accident in Rogers, AR

Rogers, AR — October 22, 2023, Leo Meythaler was killed in a pedestrian involved truck accident at around 9:30 p.m. along S.H. 94.

According to reports, a Ford Ecoliner was traveling east on New Hope Road—S.H. 94—near K Street when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, Leo Meythaler—a 28-year-old man from Bentonville—reportedly entered the roadway in the path of the ford and was struck, causing critical injuries as a result. Meythaler was transported to a local medical facility for immediate treatment. He later succumbed to the injuries incurred during the accident, having been pronounced dead at a Missouri hospital the following day.

There were no additional injuries reported in connection with this incident. The accident is still under investigation and there are no further details available at this time.
