Darius Lawson Killed in Car Accident in Little Rock, AR

Little Rock, AR — October 29, 2023, Darius Lawson was killed in a pedestrian involved car accident at about 3 p.m. along I-430.

According to authorities, a Dodge Ram was traveling south on I-430 near the Pleasant Valley Drive overpass when the accident occurred.

The Dodge reportedly hydroplaned and rear-ended a Toyota which had been traveling in the same direction ahead. The collision with the Toyota led to the Dodge veering off of the right side of the roadway and striking a pedestrian, 20-year-old Darian Lawson.

Reports indicate that Lawson sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for immediate treatment. He later succumbed to his injuries, having been pronounced dead at the facility where he had been receiving treatment.

There were no other injuries reported in connection with this incident, which is still under investigation. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
