Michael Guajardo Rojas Killed in Car Accident in Ingleside, TX

San Patricio County, TX — October 12, 2023, Michael Guajardo Rojas was killed as the result of a single-vehicle accident at around 8:56 p.m. along Avenue A.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the crash happened in the area of the Avenue A and 12th Street intersection.

According to officials, 18-year-old Michael Guajardo Rojas was in a Volkswagen Jetta said to be going southbound on Avenue A. For reasons which aren't clear at this time, the vehicle ran off the side of the roadway where it crashed into a tree.

Rojas sustained injuries which ultimately proved fatal. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash, according to authorities. The cause of the crash also remains unconfirmed at the moment.
