3 Injured in Car Accident in Plainview, TX

Plainview, TX —October 11, 2023, three people were injured in a car accident just before 3 a.m. along Farm to Market 3466.

According to reports, three people were traveling in a Dodge Dart in the far right westbound lane of F.M. 3466 approaching the Miller Boulevard intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, a Chevy Silverado pickup truck, which had been traveling in the far right eastbound lane of the same road, veered across all the lanes of traffic and collided with the Dodge, continued slightly off of the north side of the road, then returned to the road only to re-cross all the lanes and veer completely off of the south side of the road before finally coming to a stop.

All three occupants of the Dodge had reported injuries sustained during the incident and were transferred to a local medical facility by emergency medical services for treatment. There were no other injuries reported in connection with the incident. The cause of the accident has not been confirmed; it remains under investigation. Additional details are unavailable at this time.
