Gildardo Torres Injured in Truck Accident in Sanderson, TX

Sanderson, TX — October 9, 2023, Gildardo Torres was injured in a semi-truck accident just before midnight along Highway 90.

According to reports, 35-year-old Gildardo Torres was riding in a semi truck heading westbound on Highway 90 approaching the intersection with Avenue B when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the semi truck veered off of the right side of the roadway and across Avenue B before colliding with a building, which collapsed on top of the semi-truck as a result of the crash. Torres sustained serious injuries in the accident; his current condition has not been made public.

Weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. This accident is still under investigation; there are no additional details available at this point in time.
