Norman Avery Stewart Jr. Injured in Single-car Accident in Cherokee County, TX

Rusk, TX — October 8, 2023, Norman Avery Stewart Jr. was injured in a single car accident at 4 o'clock in the morning along U.S. 69.

According to reports, 36-year-old Norman Avery Stewart Jr. was riding southbound in a passenger vehicle on U.S. 69 just southeast of Rusk, Texas, when the incident occurred.

Allegedly, there had been a deer in the road which Stewart attempted to avoid. The evasive action caused the vehicle to veer off of the right side of the road where it struck a tree before returning to the roadway and coming to a stop. The accident resulted in Stewart suffering serious injuries. The cause of the accident has not been confirmed, and Stewart's current condition has not been made public. No additional details are available at this time.
