Norman Avery Stewart Jr. Injured in Single-car Accident in Cherokee County, TX

Rusk, TX — October 8, 2023, Norman Avery Stewart Jr. was injured in a single car accident at 4 o'clock in the morning along U.S. 69.

According to reports, 36-year-old Norman Avery Stewart Jr. was riding southbound in a passenger vehicle on U.S. 69 just southeast of Rusk, Texas, when the incident occurred.

Allegedly, there had been a deer in the road which Stewart attempted to avoid. The evasive action caused the vehicle to veer off of the right side of the road where it struck a tree before returning to the roadway and coming to a stop. The accident resulted in Stewart suffering serious injuries. The cause of the accident has not been confirmed, and Stewart's current condition has not been made public.
