Realitos Man Injured in Car Accident on County Road 245 in Duval County, TX

Duval County, TX — October 7, 2023, a Realitos man was injured as the result of a car accident after midnight along County Road 245.

According to officials, investigators said that the incident took place at approximately 12:45 a.m. on County Road 245 near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 716.

Authorities said that a 59-year-old Realitos man was in a Ford Taurus going southbound along C.R. 245. For reasons which can't be confirmed right now, the vehicle went off the left side of the road where it struck a tree and crashed along an embankment.

Officials said that the crash resulted in the Ford driver sustaining incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. No further information is available at this time.
