Andres Felupe Osuna Mancera Injured in Alleged Hit-and-run Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — September 29, 2023, Andres Mancera was injured following an alleged hit-and-run accident at around 11:23 p.m. on Westheimer Road.

Harris County officials released information about the accident, which they say happened between the Westheimer intersections with Chimney Rock Road and Sage Road.

Preliminary statements say that Andres Mancera was attempting to cross Westheimer at the time. While doing so, police believe a dark colored Toyota sedan went through a red light, hit Mancera, then left the scene.

Mancera was taken to the hospital for treatment. Authorities say someone who had been in the runaway vehicle reported it to the police, and authorities have filed charges against the suspected runaway driver for failure to stop and render aid. Additional details are unavailable right now.
