Johnnie Deese Jr. Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Karnes County, TX

Karnes County, TX — October 8, 2023, Johnnie Deese Jr. was killed and one was injured after a car accident at around 8:30 p.m. along F.M. 792.

According to initial statements about the crash, it happened near the intersection of Farm-to-Market 792 and County Road 344.

Officials said that 50-year-old Johnnie Deese Jr. was in a Toyota Scion going southbound on F.M. 792. For reasons unconfirmed right now, the vehicle crashed with a northbound Chevy Tahoe. Due to the collision, Deese sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. The other driver, whose identity is not public right now, had reportedly non-incapacitating injuries.

Right now, the cause of the crash remains unclear. No further details have been released pending investigations.
