One Killed Changing Tire on Interstate 10 in San Antonio, TX

San Antonio, TX — October 28, a person was killed in an accident while changing a tire on Interstate 10 near Camp Bullis Road in San Antonio, TX.

Authorities indicate that on October 28, a fatal crash occurred when a person was struck by a vehicle in San Antonio. According to reports, the crash happened around 6:30 in the morning.

Investigators say a Toyota pickup truck was stopped in the right lane of Interstate 10 due to a blown tire. A person was reportedly fixing the flat outside the vehicle, next to the concrete barrier. Police say an oncoming Ford pickup in the right lane attempted to avoid hitting the parked Toyota but struck the person fixing the flat.

The victim, whose name has not been released, reportedly died at the scene of the accident. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
