Carlos J. Estrada Injured in Car Accident in Edinburg, TX

Hidalgo County, TX — October 8, 2023, Carlos Estrada was injured as the result of a car accident at around 6:37 p.m. along East Sprague Street.

Initial details about the accident say that it happened at the intersection of Sprague Street and the South Expressway 281/Interstate 69C.

According to officials, 61-year-old Carlos Estrada was in a GMC Savana going westbound along Sprague. A Ford Fiesta was on the southbound service road and went onto the divided turnaround lane. Somehow, the vehicle continued straight across the concrete median. It then entered westbound lanes and crashed into the side of Estrada's vehicle.

Due to the collision, Estrada Sustained injuries which were described as incapacitating. The other driver was recommended charges for intoxication assault, though official confirmation of possible charges is unavailable at this time.
