Anthony Geisen Killed in Truck Accident in Alton, IL

Alton, IL — October 29, 2023, Anthony Geisen was killed in a truck accident at 5:54 in the morning along Landmarks Boulevard.

According to reports, 20-year-old Anthony Geisen was traveling northbound in a Ford Focus Hatchback on Henry Street at the Landmarks Boulevard intersection when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, a semi-truck which had been traveling in the westbound lanes of Landmarks Boulevard collided with the passenger side of the Ford Focus. Geisen was transported to a local medical center for immediate care, where he was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the accident is still unknown. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time of the incident have not been reported on. There are no additional details available at this point in time.
