Mark Alan Sparks Sr. Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth, TX — September 26, 2023, Mark Sparks Sr. was killed following a hit-and-run which happened at around 4:53 a.m. along Beach Street.

Initial details about the accident indicate that it took place off the corner of the Beach Street and Ludelle Street intersection.

According to officials, Mark Sparks was walking at the time and on northbound lanes of Beach Street. There, it appears three vehicles struck him. The first and third vehicle reportedly left the scene, but the second vehicle stayed at the scene, authorities said.

As a result of the collisions, Sparks succumbed to fatal injuries. Authorities have not mentioned any charges pending, and it's unclear if they were able to locate the two drivers who allegedly left the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
