One Injured in Dump Truck Accident on Hull Street in Chesterfield County, VA

Chesterfield County, VA — October 23, 2023, one person was injured following a dump truck accident at around 7:45 a.m. along Hull Street.

Authorities said in their statements that the crash took place in the area of the Hull Street and Chital Drive intersection.

According to officials, a sedan was going through the intersection at the time when it appears an eastbound dump truck allegedly "disregarded a red light," reports said. In doing so, the truck and the sedan collided.

One person from the sedan sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. There were no other confirmed injuries. Right now, it's unclear if any charges or citations are being considered.
