Teen Killed, Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident on FM 1902 in Johnson County, TX

Johnson County, TX — October 9, 2023, a 17-year-old was killed, and two were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market Road 1902 near Chisholm Trail Parkway in Johnson County, TX.

Authorities indicate that on October 9, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Johnson County for unknown reasons. According to police, an SUV was traveling along FM 1902 when it allegedly attempted to pass some cars in an unsafe passing zone. Sources say the SUV entered the path of an oncoming SUV, and the two collided head-on.

Officials confirmed that a 17-year-old male was killed in the crash. The drivers of both SUVs reportedly suffered injuries and were taken to an area hospital for medical attention. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
