Adrian Lopez-Torres, Jerald Hopkins Killed in Car Accident in North Little Rock, AR

North Little Rock, AR — October 14, 2023, Adrian Lopez-Torres and Jerald Hopkins were killed in a head-on car accident at 5:27 a.m. in along I-430.

Reports indicate that, for unknown reasons, Adrian Lopez-Torres was traveling north in a Kia Forte in the southbound lanes of Interstate 430 at the South River Bridge when the incident occurred.

Jerald Hopkins was traveling south in a Chevy Impala in the southbound lanes of I-430 and was struck head-on by the Kia Forte. Both Hopkins and Lopez-Torres were pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the head-on collision. Weather and road conditions at the time and place of the accident were reportedly clear and dry. The incident is still under investigation; additional details are unavailable at this time.
