Flores Sifuentes Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — January 28, 2023, Flores Sifuentes was killed and another was injured after a car accident at around 10:53 a.m. along Harris Branch Parkway.

According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the area of the Harris Branch Parkway and East Braker Lane intersection.

Authorities said that Flores Sifuentes was a passenger in a Toyota Highlander said to be going southbound along Harris Branch. The vehicle was rounding a curve when it somehow ran off the left side of the road onto the median. There, the vehicle then crashed into a tree.

As a result of the collision, Sifuentes sustained fatal injuries. The driver had reportedly non-incapacitating injuries. It's unclear if the third person in the vehicle was hurt. Right now, there is no confirmed cause of the crash, and there is no indication of other vehicles being involved.
