Bobby Ray Wilkins Killed in Car Accident in Smith County, TX

Smith County, TX — January 26, 2023, Bobby Ray Wilkins was killed following a car accident at around 5:30 p.m. along Farm-to-Market 14.

According to officials, the crash happened in the area of the F.M. 14 and County Road 313 intersection.

Investigators said that 46-year-old Bobby Wilkins was in a Buick LeSabre going southbound along F.M. 14. Due to a series of events not entirely clear, the Buick crossed paths with northbound traffic, resulting in a multi-vehicle accident with a Dodge Ram, a Hummer, and a Jeep Liberty.

Due to the collision, Wilkins sustained fatal injuries. Others involved did not have confirmed injuries. Particular factors cannot be confirmed pending investigations. Right now, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
