Man, Woman Killed, 2 Injured in Wrong-Way Truck Accident on U.S. 151 in Dodge County, WI

Dodge County, WI — October 25, 2023, a man and a woman were killed following a wrong-way truck accident at around 3:00 a.m. along U.S. Highway 151.

Initial details about the crash say that it took place in the Town of Chester on northbound lanes of U.S. 151 in the area of Highway 49.

According to officials, a Kia car was going northbound on the highway at the time. For reasons unclear, a box truck was apparently going southbound against traffic, and it resulted in the two vehicles colliding. Due to this, a 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman in the Kia succumbed to their injuries. Two other occupants from the Kia were taken to a hospital with injuries of unspecified severity.

Right now, there is no indication of charges or citations. Details about why the truck was going the wrong-way are currently unavailable, as well.
