Stacy Zavala Killed in Single-vehicle Rollover Accident in Brownsville, TX

Brownsville, TX — October 25, 2023, Stacy Zavala was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident at 1:30 in the morning along West Alton Gloor Boulevard.

According to reports, Stacy Zavala was traveling west on the 2900 block of West Alton Gloor Boulevard in a GMC Terrain when the incident occurred.

For reasons which are still unknown, the GMC veered off the road and collided with an embankment, after which the vehicle rolled, striking an electrical pole and a fence before coming to a rest on its roof.

Authorities state that Zavala died at the scene. Additionally, they say that they are unsure whether or not speed or alcohol were causal factors in the incident as the results of the autopsy and toxicology reports are reportedly still forthcoming. No additional details are available at this time; the accident is still under investigation.
