Kevin Sallas Killed in Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 92 in Abilene, TX

Abilene, TX — October 23, 2023, Kevin Sallas was killed in a semi-truck collision on Highway 92 near Farm-to-Market Road 1661 in Jones County, Abilene, TX.

Authorities indicate that on October 23, a fatal accident occurred when two trucks collided in Abilene. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 6:00 in the evening. Investigators say a pickup truck was heading south along Farm-to-Market Road 1661 when it collided with a semi-truck traveling on Highway 92. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.

Officials confirmed that the pickup driver, 49-year-old Kevin Sallas, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
