2 Injured in Rear-end Car Accident on Fairway in Wichita Falls, TX

Wichita Falls, TX — October 24, 2023, two teenage girls were injured in a rear-end car accident at around 8 a.m. along Fairway.

According to reports, the two teens were traveling south in a Dodge Durango on Fairway at the Johnson Road intersection when the accident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the Dodge failed to stop and rear-ended a school bus which had been stopped at the intersection ahead. The two teens—whose identities have not been released to the public—were both transferred to a local hospital to receive treatment.

Authorities state that weather conditions may have been a contributing factor in the accident, though the cause remains unclear. The investigation of the incident is ongoing; no further details are available at this point in time.
