Ronny Earl Jordan Injured in Truck Accident in Ector County, TX

Ector County, TX — October 1, 2023, Ronny Jordan was injured as the result of an accident involving an 18-wheeler at around 2:00 p.m. on Wireline Road.

Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened off the corner of Wireline Road and Loop 338.

Officials said in early statements that 40-year-old Ronny Earl Jordan was in a Peterbilt truck going northbound on Wireline hauling steel cable. It appears the cargo came off the truck and landed in the roadway. Jordan was reportedly in the process of recovering the wire another a semi-trailer also going northbound ran over the loose wire. This caused Jordan to become caught in the cable, and he sustained injuries described as incapacitating.

No other injuries were reported, and additional details about the accident are unavailable pending investigations.
