Noemi Yanez Killed in Hit-and-run Accident in San Antonio, TX

UPDATE (October 27, 2023): The victim of this accident has been identified by her family as Noemi Yanez, age 56. According to reports, she was riding her bike to her place of work when the accident occurred. The accident is remains under active investigation.

San Antonio, TX — October 25, 2023, a bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run car accident at about 6:30 a.m. on South General McMullen Drive.

According to reports, authorities are unsure in which direction the bicyclist was traveling along South General McMullen Drive at the time off the accident, but it occurred near Monterey Street.

The bicyclist was reportedly a woman in her fifties whose identity has not yet been verified. The vehicle of unknown make and model which struck her allegedly stopped temporarily before continuing south on South General McMullen Drive without attempting to offer any aid to the victim.

Weather and road conditions at the time of the accident have not been reported on. The incident is still under investigation by authorities and no additional details are available at this time.
