1 Killed in Cargo Van Accident on T.C. Jester Boulevard in Austin, TX

Austin, TX — October 10, 2023, one man was killed as a result of a cargo van accident at around 9 o'clock in the morning along T.C. Jester Boulevard.

According to reports, the 74-year-old victim was heading south in a Dodge Ram ProMaster near Du Barry Lane when the incident occurred.

For unknown reasons, the cargo van veered out of the lane and onto the median before colliding with a tree. Emergency Medical Services transported the man in critical condition to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries incurred during the accident.

On October 21, 2023, the victim—whose identity has not yet been verified—succumbed to his injuries, having been pronounced dead at the hospital where he had been receiving treatment. The cause of the accident is still under investigation; no further details are available at this point in time.
