Polly Ousley Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Highway 160 in Gainesville, MO

Gainesville, MO — October 20, 2023, Polly Ousley was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 160 at Highway 5 North in Gainesville, MO.

Authorities indicate that on October 20, a fatal accident occurred when a semi-truck and a car collided in Gainesville for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened around 10:30 in the morning. Investigators say a Chevy Impala was traveling along Highway 160 when it collided with the semi-truck at Highway 5. The cause of the crash has not been released at this time.

Officials confirmed that the Impala driver, Polly Ousley, 85, was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries and died the next day. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
