Octavio Hernandez-Mora Injured in Truck Accident in De Kalb, TX

De Kalb, TX — October 19, 2023, Octavio Hernandez-Mora was injured in a semi-truck accident at 7:09 a.m. at the intersection of Fairview and Somonauk Road.

According to reports, Octavio Hernandez-Mora was the passenger in a Chevy Van which had been involved in an accident with a Ford F-250 at that intersection. Both of the drivers of the vehicles involved in that incident were outside their vehicles taking stock of the damages.

That was when semi-truck, which was traveling north on Somonauk, collided with the Chevy Van of which Hernandez-Mora was inside.

Authorities state that Hernandez-Mora sustained serious injuries as a result of the second accident; he was taken to a local hospital for treatment along with the driver of the semi-truck, who had also sustained injuries. The accident is still under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
