Marcus Cooperwood Injured in Truck Accident in Guadalupe County, TX

Guadalupe County, TX — October 1, 2023, Marcus Cooperwood sustained injuries following a semi-truck accident at around 8:10 a.m. along Tollway 130.

Investigators said in their statements that the crash happened along southbound lanes of the tollway near mile marker 488.

According to officials, 33-year-old Marcus Cooperwood was on a motorcycle going along Toll 130. An 18-wheeler behind Cooperwood reportedly failed to control speed and crashed into the motorcycle. As a result, Cooperwood had what were described as incapacitating injuries.

Right now, it appears authorities recommended there be a charge for failure to reduce speed. Authorities mentioned they were able to examine video evidence of the collision. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
