2 Injured in Truck Accident on I-475 in Perrysburg, OH

Perrysburg, OH — October 13, 2023, two people were seriously injured in a semi-truck accident in the afternoon along I-475.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the northbound side of I-475 in the area just north of S.R. 25.

For unknown reasons, the semi-truck veered off of the road, crashing through a metal guardrail. According to photos published by the media, the truck ended up hanging halfway down an earthen embankment with the back half of the trailer jutting out into the roadway behind.

Two people were seriously injured as a result of the crash. One was taken to a nearby hospital by emergency medical services, but the injuries of the other victim necessitated an airlift to a different facility for treatment. The identities of the two injured people have not yet been released to the public, and the investigation into the accident is still ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
