Three Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Grand Parkway in Houston, TX

Houston, TX — October 17, 2023, three people were injured in a hit-and-run crash on Grand Parkway at Kingsland Boulevard in Harris County, Houston, TX.

Authorities indicate that on October 17, an accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Harris County. According to reports, the crash happened around 11:00 at night. Investigators say a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling northbound when it suddenly struck the rear of an SUV on Grand Parkway at Kingsland Boulevard. A third vehicle was also reportedly hit in the accident.

Officials confirmed that two SUV occupants were injured, one critically. A person in the third vehicle was also hurt in the crash, but the injuries were said to be non-life-threatening. All three victims were taken to an area hospital for medical attention.

Police stated that the Camaro driver, an 18-year-old female, allegedly left the scene. Authorities reportedly apprehended her at a gas station. No further information has been released at this time.
