James Forest Perkins, 2 Killed in Semi-Truck Accident near Campbell, TX

UPDATE (November 7, 2023): One of the victims of this accident has been identifies as 28-year-old James Forest Perkins of Seminole, Texas. Neither of the other victims' identities have yet been confirmed.

Campbell, TX — October 12, 2023, three were killed in a semi-truck crash on Interstate 30, east of Greenville, near Campbell, TX.

Authorities indicate that on October 12, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided near Campbell for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened just before 8:30 at night. Investigators say a vehicle allegedly pulled in front of a westbound semi-truck from the shoulder of Interstate 30, and the two vehicles collided. The cause of the crash has not been released, and few details are available at this time.

Officials confirmed that all three vehicle occupants, whose names have not been released, suffered fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
