Celia Davis Brayman Injured in 18-wheeler Accident in Deaf Smith County, TX

Deaf Smith County, TX — September 26, 2023, Celia Davis Brayman was injured following an 18-wheeler accident at around 7:49 a.m. along U.S. 60.

Initial statements from authorities said that it took place near mile marker 290 along U.S. Highway 60.

According to officials, 33-year-old Celia Davis Brayman was in a Chevy Silverado traveling westbound along the highway. Due to events not clear right now, the pickup collided with a tractor-trailer which was going in the same direction as Brayman. This caused the pickup to careen off-road.

Due to the collision, officials say Brayman had incapacitating injuries. There were no other reported injuries. Authorities said that the 18-wheeler was going slowly at the time, but they did not specify how slowly. No further information is available right now.
