Cristian Martinez Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident in Hood County, TX

Hood County, TX — September 23, 2023, Cristian Martinez was injured following a single-vehicle car accident that happened at around 4:32 p.m. on F.M. 167.

Authorities said in preliminary public statements that the crash occurred in the area of the F.M. 167 and Temple Oaks Court.

According to officials, 25-year-old Cristian Martinez was the driver of a Chevy Silverado going westbound along F.M. 167. It appears the pickup went off the right side of the road, hit a culvert, and went airborne. The pickup then crashed into a tree.

As a result of the collision, Martinez reportedly sustained incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else in the vehicle. Currently, authorities have not reported an official cause for the crash. No further information is available right now.
