38-Year-Old Injured in Single-Vehicle Truck Accident in Taylor County, TX

Taylor County, TX — September 13, 2023, a 38-year-old was injured in a single-vehicle truck accident around 7:27 a.m. on U.S. Hwy. 83 in Taylor County.

According to investigators, the victim's box truck was southbound on U.S. Hwy. 83, near mile marker 352, when his truck somehow veered toward the passenger side and crashed into some trees. The initial accident purportedly forced the box truck to overturn several times before coming to rest on its passenger side with its nose pointing north.

The truck driver was reportedly taken to a medical center with severe injuries.

Police are still looking into the cause of the accident.
