Nicholas Trondsen Killed, Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Tucson, AZ

Tucson, AZ — October 1, 2023, Nicholas Trondsen was killed, and two were injured in a car crash at West Avra Valley Road and North Portland Avenue in Tucson, AZ.

Authorities indicate that on October 1, a fatal accident occurred when two vehicles collided in Tucson for unknown reasons. According to reports, a car was traveling westbound along Avra Valley Road when it suddenly left the roadway. Police say another westbound vehicle struck the rear of the car. Police have not released the cause of the crash at this time.

Officials confirmed that one of the drivers, Nicholas Trondsen, 57, suffered fatal injuries. Two others, a driver and passenger of the other vehicle, reportedly sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital.

No other injuries were reported.
