Teenager Killed in Hit-and-run Accident on Humble Camp Road in Pleasanton, TX

Pleasanton, TX — October 6, 2023, a teenager was killed following an alleged hit-and-run accident at around midnight along Humble Camp Road.

Authorities said in their preliminary statements that the incident happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the area of the Humble Camp Road and South Main Street intersection.

According to initial details from authorities, it's believed that a girl was walking southbound along Humble Camp Road at the time when it appears a driver hit the girl. That vehicle then left the scene, but details suggest the suspect later returned to the scene.

As a result of the accident, the teenager sustained fatal injuries. There were no other reported injuries. Authorities the suspected runaway driver is facing charges for Failure to Render Aid Involving Death. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
