68-Year-Old Injured in Truck Accident on I-10 in Pecos County, TX

Pecos County, TX — September 2, 2023, a 68-year-old was injured in a collision with a commercial truck around 9:56 p.m. on I-10 in Pecos County.

According to sources, the victim's Toyota Scion was disabled in the right lane of the highway when it was struck by a westbound Freightliner tractor-trailer. The impact reportedly pushed the Toyota toward its driver's side across the left lane and off the road.

The Scion's driver was purportedly transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
