One Injured in Semi-Truck Accident in Benton City, WA

Benton City, WA — October 5, 2023, a person was injured in a semi-truck crash on Webber Canyon Road, south of Dennis Road in Benton City, WA.

Authorities indicate that on October 5, an accident occurred when a semi-truck crashed in Benton City for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened around 9:00 in the morning.

Investigators say the semi-truck was traveling along Webber Canyon Road when it suddenly slid out of control at a curve. Sources say the truck overturned into a roadside ditch, trapping the driver. Responding authorities reportedly extricated the driver from the truck and transported him to an area hospital for treatment of severe injuries.

Police stated that speed may have been a factor in the crash, but this has not been confirmed as the investigation is ongoing. No other injuries were reported.
