Houston Man Injured in Truck Rollover Accident on F.M. 2502 in Austin County, TX

Austin County, TX — July 24, 2023, a Houston man sustained injuries due to a truck rollover accident that happened at 10:44 a.m. on F.M. 2502.

Authorities said that the incident took place in the area of the F.M. 2502 and Shelby Road intersection.

According to officials, a 63-year-old Houston man was in a Freightliner semi-truck going along eastbound lanes of the roadway. It appears that one of the truck's tires separated, leading to the truck losing control and careening off-road. The truck then overturned.

As a result of the collision, the Houston man driving the truck sustained incapacitating injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Investigators have yet to release any additional details surrounding the accident.
