One Injured in Three-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 10 near Midway, FL

Midway, FL — October 4, 2023, a person was injured in a three-vehicle collision on Interstate 10 near mile marker 88 in Gadsen County, near Midway, FL.

Authorities indicate that on October 4, an accident occurred when three vehicles collided near Midway for unknown reasons. According to reports, the crash happened at approximately 5:00 in the afternoon.

Investigators say a truck was traveling west along Interstate 10 when it veered off the road while attempting to pass another vehicle. Sources say the truck left the roadway and crashed into a parked semi on the side of the interstate. The truck was reportedly forced back onto the interstate due to the impact, causing it to get hit by an oncoming SUV. Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.

Officials confirmed that the truck driver suffered severe injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is ongoing.
