Patricia Pedro Nunez, Three Children Injured in Truck Accident on I-35 Near Beckley Ave. in Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX — September 14, 2023, Patricia Pedro Nunez and three children were injured in a truck accident around 12:55 p.m. on I-35 Near Beckley Ave. in Dallas.

According to investigators, Ms. Nunez and the children were in a northbound Nissan Armada when the vehicle reportedly began to slide across the road toward the passenger side. The Armada reportedly collided with an International box truck in the far right lane of the highway.

Officials report the driver's side of the box truck's nose struck the passenger side of the Nissan. The impact purportedly forced the Nissan to travel back across the highway toward its driver's side and hit the concrete barrier. The box truck reportedly struck the right-side retaining wall of the highway.

According to authorities, a 5-year-old sustained serious injuries, Ms. Nunez, a 3-year-old and an infant suffered minor injuries, and the truck driver is believed to have possible injuries.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
