Adriana Lopez Killed in Car Accident in Cooke County, TX

Cooke County, TX — July 16, 2023, Adriana Michelle Lopez was killed due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 5:19 a.m. along F.M. 372.

Authorities said in preliminary statements on the crash that it occurred in the area of the Farm-to-Market 372 and County Road 220 intersection.

Details at this time say that 25-year-old Adriana Lopez was the driver of a Honda Civic going along southbound F.M. 372. While doing so, it appear the vehicle somehow went off the right side of the road. Authorities say the vehicle then went back to the left where it left the roadway again before overturning.

As a result of the crash, Lopez ultimately succumbed to fatal injuries. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Based on currently available evidence, the cause of the crash cannot be confirmed. Investigations are ongoing.
