Julian Valdez Jr., 1 Injured in Truck Accident in Reeves County, TX

Reeves County, TX — August 8, 2023, Julian Valdez Jr. and another were injured following a multi-vehicle accident at around 2:45 p.m. on Highway 302.

Authorities said in their statements that the incident took place near mile marker 186 along the highway. It appears that 38-year-old Julian Valdez Jr. was in a Dodge Ram 1500 going westbound along the highway.

Due to a series of events not confirmed right now, the Dodge collided with a Ford F-150 also going westbound. This led to the Dodge colliding with an eastbound tractor-trailer and a Ford F-350. Due to this collision, Valdez sustained injuries described as incapacitating. The driver of the semi had apparently non-incapacitating injuries.
