Atushi Koda Injured in Truck Accident in Frisco, TX

Frisco, TX — August 7, 2023, Atushi Koda sustained injuries as the result of a semi-truck accident at around 5:32 a.m. along Spring Creek Parkway.

According to preliminary details about the crash from authorities, the incident occurred off the corner of Spring Creek Parkway and Griffin Road.

Investigators said in preliminary statements that 48-year-old Atushi Koda was in a Toyota Tundra said to be going southbound along Spring Creek Parkway. Up ahead at the Griffin Road intersection, authorities say that a tractor-trailer going northbound made a left turn. While it crossed southbound lanes, Koda's vehicle crashed beneath the trailer.

As a result of the crash, Koda sustained injuries described as incapacitating. There did not appear to be any other resulting injuries. It's unclear whether or not authorities plan to file charges or citations. Additional details about the crash are unavailable at this time pending investigations.
