Pedestrian Injured in Truck Accident on F.M. 1187 in Tarrant County, TX

Tarrant County, TX — September 8, 2023, a 70-year-old was injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 7:29 a.m. on F.M. 1187 in Tarrant County.

According to sources, the victim was walking along with traffic on the eastbound shoulder of F.M. 1187 when an eastbound Kenworth semi-truck struck him. The truck driver allegedly told authorities he was unable to see the pedestrian due to the rising sun.

the 70-year-old pedestrian was reportedly taken to a medical center with serious injuries.
